After graduating from Thanh Do University, many students are ready to start their own businesses and have achieved significant success in various fields.
During the training process, Thanh Do University equips students with knowledge, skills, and the mindset necessary to thrive and compete in the challenging job market.
Graduating in 2018 with a degree in Vietnamese Studies (Tourism Guidance), Mr. Tran Van Luong is currently the Director of Lion Media and Event Joint Stock Company, a business he founded in the tourism and travel services sector. With a passion for tourism, he has consistently worked to develop his knowledge, professional skills, and practical experiences, nurturing his entrepreneurial aspirations since his university days.
During his studies, Mr. Luong, like other students, had the opportunity to participate in an internship program at a company, gaining exposure to professional skills, work attitude, and real-world work practices. In his final year of university, he took part in an internship at Sun World Ba Na Hills.
Thanks to his extensive and diverse professional knowledge and skills, the alumnus of Thanh Do University received a job offer at Sun World Ba Na Hills and continued his career as a tour guide before founding Lion Media and Event Joint Stock Company in 2023.
To achieve the success he has today, Mr. Luong shares that he has faced numerous difficulties and challenges. “The startup environment is always very harsh; without a solid professional foundation, strong skills, and the ability to make decisive and confident choices, it is easy to fail”, he added.
Many students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Thanh Do University have had job opportunities at renowned companies and pharmacies or have successfully started their own businesses.
Among them, Mr. Le Xuan Quy opened Tam Quy Pharmacy and became a lecturer at the Pharmacy Business Training Center within the Mariko Pharmacy chain from Japan. To achieve this success, he deeply values the time he spent studying at Thanh Do University. The alumnus always holds dear the phrase, “Thanh Do – a friendly university environment”.
Xuan Quy shared that students here have a tradition of unity and mutual support, with teachers who listen and offer dedicated assistance, and with close-knit student activities. “When I graduated and started working with the knowledge I had learned, I still cherish and consider myself a small part of the hundreds of thousands of hearts at Chengdu”, he added.
Ms. Nguyen Phuong Chi (an alumna of the English Language program, Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages) is the founder and CEO of Vinamont Consulting and Training Co., Ltd. and Atoca Children’s Furniture Co., Ltd., both operating in the fields of training, consulting, and entrepreneurship. This achievement is the result of her personal efforts and the knowledge she gained from a practical and systematic training program.
The English Language program at Thanh Do University focuses on providing in-depth linguistic knowledge while also developing communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in an international environment. This has helped many alumni, like Phuong Chi, to leverage their abilities in their careers and achieve success.
The success stories of alumni also serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for generations of students in the English Language program at Thanh Do University. As a result, Ms. Phuong Chi frequently returns to the university to share her experiences and offer advice to younger students.
Assoc.
