On May 21, 2026, at the headquarters of the Institute of Linguistics (Kim Ma, Ngoc Ha, Hanoi), Thanh Do University and the Institute of Linguistics officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new step in enhancing training quality, academic research and learning opportunities for students.

Attending the signing ceremony, representatives from the Institute of Linguistics included Dr. Dang Thi Phuong, Deputy Director in charge of the Institute, along with leaders from specialized departments, the Administrative Office and the Linguistics Journal. Representing Thanh Do University were Dr. Nguyen Thuy Van, Vice President and Director of the Institute of Language, Culture and International Studies, together with representatives from the Academic Affairs Office and the GenNext Training and Skills Development Center.

During the meeting, both sides discussed cooperation orientations in education, scientific research and practical academic activities. Under the agreement, Thanh Do University and the Institute of Linguistics will collaborate on research and application activities in linguistics, lexicography and encyclopedia studies, while promoting digital transformation and technology application in research, data storage and academic resource dissemination.

The two institutions also agreed to strengthen cooperation in organizing academic conferences, workshops, short-term training courses, professional development programs and joint research groups, as well as implementing domestic and international scientific projects.

In addition, internship, field study and practical experience activities for students will be expanded, enabling learners to access specialized research environments and enhance professional competencies.

The partnership with the Institute of Linguistics is expected to bring practical benefits to students and postgraduate learners at Thanh Do University, particularly those enrolled in Comparative and Contrastive Linguistics, English Language, Chinese Language, Vietnamese Studies and related social sciences programs.

Students and learners will have more opportunities to participate in academic research activities, work with leading experts, experience professional research environments and strengthen academic, research and practical application skills.

The signing ceremony further affirmed Thanh Do University’s commitment to expanding cooperation with prestigious research institutes and academic organizations, contributing to the development of a modern educational environment that integrates theory, research and professional practice while enhancing students’ global integration and future career opportunities.
