To create an academic forum for scientists, lecturers, experts, healthcare professionals, graduate students, and undergraduates to exchange research findings, experience, and innovative approaches in medicine and pharmacy, Thanh Do University organized a scientific conference themed “Innovation in Medical and Pharmaceutical Research, Education, and Practice in response to Digital Transformation and Modern Healthcare.”

As digital transformation continues to reshape healthcare, innovation in medical and pharmaceutical research, education, and practice has become increasingly important.

The conference brought together scientists, experts, lecturers, healthcare professionals, graduate students, and students to share research results, practical experience, and emerging approaches in the field. Discussions focused on applying science and technology, innovating training, and strengthening practical competencies to meet the evolving demands of medicine and pharmacy in the digital era.

Four thematic presentations highlighted key research and development trends in the field.

The presentation “Biotechnology Trends in Medicine and Pharmacy” explored the growing role of biotechnology in research, diagnosis, product development, and healthcare solutions.

“Chemistry, Medicinal Plants, and the Discovery of New Active Compounds” examined the potential of chemical research and medicinal resources in identifying and developing active compounds with applications in disease prevention and treatment.

“Innovation in Medical and Pharmaceutical Education and Practice” addressed the need to update curricula and teaching methods while strengthening the connection between academic knowledge and practical environments, contributing to higher-quality medical and pharmaceutical human resources.

“Pharmaceutical Development and Application for Modern Healthcare” discussed research, development, and pharmaceutical applications aligned with emerging healthcare needs amid rapid advances in science and technology.

Beyond the thematic presentations, the academic discussion session provided a space for scientists, lecturers, experts, and learners to exchange perspectives and practical experience on issues arising in research, education, and professional practice.
