Admission conditions

Thanh Do University offers admission through four methods:

  • Admission based on high school academic performance

  • Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam

  • Admission based on the results of competency and aptitude assessments

  • Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET)

Candidates need to prepare the following documents:

In recent years, the demand for human resources in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has been very large and diverse. Moreover, Vietnam has been integrating with the world’s economies. Large companies and corporations have tended to shift their economies and invest strongly in our country, such as Intel, Samsung, LG, etc. According to forecasts, in the next few years, Vietnam will be one of the major centers for manufacturing electronic products in ASEAN countries. Therefore, after graduating from Electrical and Electronic Engineering, students can take on positions such as: technical specialists or consultants in design, operation, and maintenance of power grids at power companies, power plants, transformer stations, factories, industrial parks, export processing zones, residential areas, buildings, office buildings, etc.; research in laboratories, highly automated and electronic industrial production units; work for the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, the Vietnam Electronics General Department and its affiliated companies; or can continue studying and researching at the graduate and postgraduate levels to become experts in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology and can participate in teaching at universities, colleges, etc.

Job positions of Electrical and Electronic Engineering students at TDD:

  • Consulting on design, operation, and maintenance of power grids
  • Designing and operating control systems for automatic machinery and equipment, automatic production systems
  • Business and services of electrical, electronic, and semiconductor equipment

Description of the training program

Phase 1 (2 years)

  • General
  • Basic: Electronic components, Circuit theory, Electronic circuit engineering, Programming languages, etc.

Phase 2 (2 years)

  • Major: Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (Semiconductor Microchip Technology) with courses in circuit design, Microprocessor engineering, Microcontroller engineering, Programming languages, artificial intelligence, etc.
  • Enterprise semester: paid internship at the School’s partner enterprises and organizations.
  • Graduation project
