A delegation from Thanh Do University conducted an official visit and working sessions with several universities in Taiwan, including Ming Chuan University, China Medical University of Technology, and Kun Shan University of Science and Technology. The visit aimed to expand international cooperation, foster academic exchange, and promote global study, internship, and employment opportunities for students.

During the trip, the delegation held extensive discussions on various cooperation programs with long-standing partners such as Ming Chuan University and China Medical University of Technology, and signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kun Shan University of Science and Technology. The collaborations focus on several key areas:

• International training programs: winter/summer camps, short-term training, and master’s programs;
• Paid internships: opportunities for students to intern at enterprises and partner institutions in China and Taiwan;
• Student and faculty exchange: expanding international study, research, and cultural exchange;
• Joint scientific research: co-developing applied research and technological innovation projects;
• Joint degree programs: including 1+4, 2+2, and dual-degree bachelor–master pathways (3+1+1).

This cooperation provides Thanh Do University students with access to international programs such as winter/summer camps, short-term courses, joint degrees, and master’s studies. Students also benefit from paid internships at enterprises, hospitals, and partner institutions in Taiwan. The collaboration focuses on key disciplines, including:

• Health Sciences: Pharmacy, Nursing
• Technology: Information Technology, Electrical–Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering
• Tourism & Languages: Hotel Management, Tourism, English Language, Chinese Language, and Vietnamese Studies

At China Medical University of Technology, both sides reached an agreement on the student exchange program in the health sciences. For the Nursing program, students from Thanh Do University will study in Taiwan for one year, including seven months of internship and five months of paid hospital work and will receive an international internship and nursing certificate upon completion.

The two institutions also agreed on faculty and student exchange: Chinese Medical University of Technology will send lecturers to Thanh Do University to teach courses in Pharmacy and Nursing, while Thanh Do students majoring in Chinese Language will have the opportunity to engage directly with Taiwanese instructors. In 2026, nursing and pharmacy students from China Medical University of Technology are expected to come to Vietnam for study and cultural exchange at Thanh Do University.

This working trip to Taiwan marks a significant milestone in Thanh Do University’s internationalization strategy. The collaborations not only enhance opportunities for student and faculty exchange and joint research but also lay the groundwork for future cooperative training models such as 1+4, 2+2, and 3+1+1 dual-degree programs.

It represents a strong step forward in Thanh Do University’s mission to provide students with knowledge, skills, and practical experience, empowering them to become high-quality human resources ready to contribute not only to Vietnam but also to the broader global community.
