THANH DO UNIVERSITY SIGNS PARTNERSHIP WITH WELL GROUP (JAPAN): CAREER ORIENTATION FOR NURSING STUDENTS

Thanh Do University has signed a partnership with Well Group to promote collaboration in training and workforce development in healthcare, particularly elderly care.

The event was attended by Mr. Iizuka Toru, CEO of Well Viet Nhat Company (a Well Group subsidiary), and Mr. Hayashi Yasuhiro, training expert, along with representatives from Thanh Do University.

The signing ceremony featured in-depth discussions on cooperation in healthcare training, especially elderly care, as Vietnam faces the challenges of an aging population. Well Group introduced its Japanese-standard training models and shared insights on the CarePro e-learning platform as a modern training resource.

Key areas of collaboration include:

  • Applying the CarePro e-learning system in elderly care training
  • Organizing seminars, specialized lectures, and pilot training programs
  • Exchanging expertise in healthcare training and workforce development

Mr. Iizuka Toru presented Japan’s elderly care training system, including competency standards and training models. The CarePro platform offers standardized curricula, digital learning materials, and modern tools to enhance training quality and professional skills. These advanced models are expected to inform the development of context-appropriate programs in Vietnam.

This partnership creates opportunities to adopt advanced Japanese training practices, contributing to improved education in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, and Community Care, key focus areas of the University. For Nursing students, it provides access to international competency standards, modern methodologies, and practice-oriented learning in elderly care.

It also marks a strategic step in expanding international collaboration, supporting the development of an integrated, modern training ecosystem that meets the growing demands of the healthcare workforce in an aging society.
