Thanh Do University has been awarded a 4-Star QS Stars rating, placing it among Vietnam’s leading private universities recognized under the international higher education evaluation system.

According to official data from the QS Stars - TopUniversities system, Vietnam currently has two institutions achieving the highest 5-Star overall rating: VinUniversity and British University Vietnam (BUV). VinUniversity, recognized in September 2024, became the world’s youngest university to receive this distinction, while BUV was the first Vietnamese institution to achieve 5 Stars in 2022. Most recently, HSB – Hanoi School of Business and Management under Vietnam National University, Hanoi, became the first public institution in Vietnam to receive a 5-Star QS Stars rating.

Among the universities currently holding a 4-Star (Very Good) QS Stars rating, several institutions have maintained this achievement through multiple assessment cycles, including UEF and HUTECH. By late 2025 and early 2026, the list expanded with new members such as Nam Can Tho University, Vinh University, and Thanh Do University.

Thanh Do University stands out, with five of its seven core criteria rated 5 Stars, including Teaching, Facilities, Employability, Good Governance, and Social Impact. Notably, the Good Governance category achieved a perfect score of 100/100, reflecting the University’s transparency and professional management. The results also affirm Thanh Do University’s application-oriented approach, particularly through strong employability and student career support indicators.

Thanh Do University continues to pursue its educational philosophy of “Wisdom - Capability - Harmony - Humanity” alongside the WILL model (Work-Integrated Learning & Living), which promotes practice-oriented training and close integration between theory, practical experience, and professional application.
