Continuing to expand its international partnership network, Thanh Do University has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese Culture University (Taiwan), creating more opportunities for Thadoers in international study, scholarships, academic exchange, and career development.

Representing Chinese Culture University at the meeting were President Wang Zi-Qi (王子奇 校長) and Chia-Lin (Kevin) Tsai, Director of International Cooperation. The signing marks a new step in the partnership between the two universities, with plans to develop academic programs, exchanges, and industry connections while creating a more international learning environment for Thanh Do University students.

Under the agreement, Chinese Culture University will promote its master’s programs and offer Thanh Do University students who meet admission requirements a 100% tuition scholarship for their first academic year. The university will also support Chinese and English language courses and short-term language programs to help students strengthen their language skills for study and research in Taiwan.

The two universities will promote academic, faculty, and student exchanges through short-term courses, semester exchange programs, cultural activities, and practical experiences in Vietnam and Taiwan. Faculty members will also have opportunities for guest teaching, joint research supervision, professional exchanges, and participation in academic conferences, strengthening international academic collaboration and training quality.

In terms of industry engagement and career development, the two universities will jointly organize seminars, soft-skills training, and career orientation activities aligned with different fields of study. Chinese Culture University’s industry network will also help connect students with internship placements and employment opportunities, enabling them to gain practical experience and strengthen their competitiveness in the international job market.

As part of the program, faculty members from Chinese Culture University also joined a Vietnamese-style tea and Mid-Autumn cake experience. The cultural exchange provided an opportunity for faculty and students to share stories about traditions, culture, and everyday life in Vietnam and Taiwan, fostering greater understanding and connection between the two university communities. 

The partnership with Chinese Culture University further affirms Thanh Do University’s internationalization strategy, opening up more opportunities for students to access scholarships, postgraduate education, language development, and advanced educational experiences. It also provides an important foundation for developing internationally capable graduates who can meet the demands of an increasingly globalized world.

The cooperation contributes to strengthening educational ties between Vietnam and Taiwan and advancing the development of high-quality human resources.
