The Chinese Language program provides in-depth and comprehensive knowledge and skills in using Chinese and applying this language in various fields: economics, culture, education, etc. Students are guided from basic to advanced levels of proficiency in Chinese, while also exploring the unique characteristics of China’s geography, history, culture, socio-politics, law, and international relations.

Admission conditions

Thanh Do University offers admission through four methods:

Admission based on high school academic performance
Admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam
Admission based on the results of competency and aptitude assessments
Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET)

Description of the training program

Phase 1 (2 years): Study general and foundational subjects, including:

Chinese Phonetics – Vocabulary
Chinese Grammar – Characters
Practical language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing
Presentation skills

Phase 2 (1.5 years):

Specialization according to major orientation
- Chinese for Business and Tourism: Focus on Chinese in business and tourism.
- Chinese for Technology: Focus on terminology and communication in the technology sector.
- Chinese for Teaching Orientation: Preparing for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Enterprise Semester: Paid internship at partner businesses and organizations.
Overseas Internship: Students have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs or internships for at least 01 semester (5-6 months) in China or Taiwan.
