Thanh Do University offers a Master of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy program, which helps enhance knowledge in the Pharmacy field, regarding the interaction between drugs and the body, and studies the mechanisms when drugs enter the body, the body’s absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion through various mechanisms for therapeutic effectiveness or to demonstrate undesirable effects.
Pharmacists are not only experts in drugs, but also experts in clinical biochemical tests, also known as Clinical Pharmacists, when participating in drug use decisions in special cases while being invited to drug and treatment advisory boards.
Pharmacists’ jobs, in addition to introducing new drugs and dispensing drugs according to doctors’ prescriptions, also include working in pharmaceutical companies specializing in pharmaceutical production (pharmaceutical industry), pharmaceutical business (drug distribution and supply), or pharmaceutical management facilities, drug quality control (drug testing), new drug research, etc.
