To strengthen research capacity and support postgraduate learners in producing publication-ready research, Thanh Do University organized the seminar "Enhancing Academic Writing and Journal Publication Capabilities for Postgraduates"

The seminar provided a practical academic forum where participants explored research methodologies, scientific writing techniques, and publication strategies through insights shared by experienced scholars and researchers.

In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Ai Thi emphasized that research competence and scientific publication are essential components of postgraduate education. Beyond completing theses and dissertations, learners are encouraged to develop systematic research skills, strengthen academic writing, and produce high-quality studies suitable for publication in national and international journals.

The seminar began with a survey on participants' progress in preparing research papers. Discussions revealed common challenges, including selecting research topics, structuring manuscripts, analyzing data, and identifying suitable journals. These insights enabled speakers to address participants' most pressing concerns.

Dr. Vu Thi Thanh Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scientific Research and Development, presented a session on the structure of a scientific paper and effective writing strategies. She explained the essential components of a publishable article, from defining research questions and building logical arguments to presenting findings and navigating the submission and peer-review process.

Offering a practical research perspective, doctoral candidate Tran Thi Thu Trang shared valuable experience in developing research ideas, designing proposals, selecting appropriate methodologies, and analyzing data effectively. Her real-world insights provided participants with practical guidance for conducting rigorous and feasible research.

A key highlight of the seminar was the launch of the "90 Days Writing Challenge," an initiative encouraging doctoral candidates and master's students to build consistent research and writing habits. The program aims to foster academic discipline while supporting participants in completing high-quality research papers for publication.

Beyond expert presentations, the seminar created an open academic forum where participants discussed research and publication challenges directly with specialists.
