On the morning of September 25, 2025, Thanh Do University held the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dong Eui University (South Korea), attended by a large number of students from the Economics program. The event marked an important milestone in the University’s internationalization strategy, opening opportunities for academic study, cultural exchange, and professional internships for Thanh Do students.

Representing Dong Eui University was Mr. Bae Gum Kwang, Director of International Cooperation. Thanh Do University welcomed the delegation with Assoc. Prof. Dao Thi Ai Thi – Vice Rector, alongside faculty members from various Institutes, Departments, and Centers, and numerous students from Business Administration, Office Administration, Accounting, and Law programs.

The collaboration is facilitated by Vinako Consulting & Education, a trusted partner in guiding Vietnamese students through study abroad programs in South Korea, with extensive connections to leading universities. Notably, Dong Eui University – the second largest university in Busan, offering over 100 programs across technology, economics, social sciences, and healthcare – will serve as a promising study destination for Thanh Do students.

At the ceremony, both parties agreed to collaborate on multiple fronts: education, training, student and faculty exchanges, Korea study programs, and broader international academic cooperation.

Opening the program, Assoc. Prof. Dao Thi Ai Thi shared her personal experiences studying and researching in South Korea between 1995–1999. Drawing on her own journey, she emphasized that studying abroad not only provides specialized knowledge but also develops practical skills, expands perspectives, and enriches cultural experiences. She stated: “Signing this MOU with Dong Eui University is a gateway for Thanh Do students to access advanced education, immerse themselves in an international learning environment, and confidently assert themselves in the global arena.”

A key highlight of the collaboration is that Dong Eui University offers 100% tuition scholarships for the first semester, free Korean language training to prepare students for TOPIK certification, and opportunities for part-time work with an average monthly income of 30–40 million VND. These benefits help students manage living and learning expenses while pursuing their studies in Korea.

The program also allowed students to directly engage with Dong Eui representatives, ask questions, and gain concrete guidance to prepare for their international study plans.

With this cooperation, Thanh Do students, especially those in Economics, will gain expanded access to international programs, global internships, and rich cultural and academic exchange experiences. These opportunities will not only enhance professional knowledge but also improve language skills and global competence, equipping students to become well-rounded global citizens.
