Thanh Do University announces the Vietnam - China International Student Exchange Program at Wenshan University (Yunnan, China), taking place in December, offering students the opportunity to experience multicultural learning, immerse themselves in an international educational environment, and enhance academic exchange.

Two Program Options:

• 12-day Winter Camp at Wenshan University
• 9-day Winter Camp at Wenshan University + 3 days 2 nights at Kunming Mountain (12 days)

This international exchange program offers students the chance to “absorb the language at its origin” through real-life experiences in the homeland of the Chinese language. The Vietnam-China Student Exchange Program 2025 enables participants not only to explore Chinese culture, language, and people but also to broaden global perspectives and engage in an international learning environment, even while still in university.

Previously, Thanh Do University conducted a visit and signed a cooperation agreement with Wenshan University, opening various academic connections and cultural exchange opportunities for students. The 2025 Vietnam-China Student Exchange Program 2025 is the practical realization of this partnership, providing students with chances to explore the Chinese language, culture, and lifestyle, while enhancing knowledge, developing skills, and expanding international learning pathways.

Wenshan University is one of the leading higher education institutions in Yunnan Province, China, known for its multilingual training programs and strong internationalization. The university features modern facilities, a green and spacious campus, and comfortable dormitories, providing an ideal learning environment for both domestic and international students. With a highly qualified faculty and extensive global cooperation network, the university offers numerous opportunities for student exchanges, internships, and cross-border research. Students also experience the diverse ethnic cultures of Yunnan, helping them expand horizons and improve international communication skills.

Eligible Participants

• Students majoring in Chinese Language and students from other disciplines currently studying at Thanh Do University
• Learners with a passion for the Chinese language and culture who seek study and cultural immersion opportunities

Program Requirements

• Passport: Must have a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining; no criminal record; no legal violations
• Health: Good physical condition; active participation in program activities; proactive in learning and self-development
• Age requirement: No age limit

Throughout the program, participants will take part in activities designed to improve Chinese communication skills through an immersive environment—practicing spoken Chinese, engaging in daily-life communication scenarios such as shopping, traveling, cuisine exploration, and street experiences.

The Winter Camp also offers a variety of cultural activities, including traditional Chinese folk arts (paper-cutting, calligraphy, cuisine, and traditional festivals), visits to cultural and educational landmarks, and exchanges with local students in a multicultural international environment.

Program Fees

• Program 1: 12-day Winter Camp at Wenshan University

Thanh Do University students: 5,500,000 VND/participant

External participants: 6,000,000 VND/participant

• Program 2: 9-day Winter Camp + 3 days 2 nights Kunming Tour

Thanh Do University students: 10,100,000 VND/participant

External participants: 10,600,000 VND/participant
