THADO-ERS PROMOTING THE BEAUTY OF VIETNAMESE CULTURAL IDENTITY

The final round of the competition “Vietnamese Culture - Timeless Beauty” brought Thadoers together to celebrate and showcase the richness of Vietnamese cultural identity.

Organized by the Institute of Languages - Culture - International Studies, the event gathered top teams from the preliminary round. More than an academic and cultural platform, it highlighted students’ pride in national heritage and their role in preserving and promoting traditional values in a modern university setting.

Teams competed in three rounds, combining knowledge, performance, and creativity. The opening segment featured traditional costume showcases, recreating the diverse beauty of Vietnamese ethnic attire. Each performance was accompanied by concise presentations explaining cultural origins, historical value, and social meaning, with some teams incorporating foreign languages to enhance academic depth and global engagement.

The talent round highlighted creativity through artistic performances, including traditional music, dance, folk art, and cultural storytelling. These performances not only demonstrated artistic ability but also conveyed messages about identity, history, and cultural pride.

In the final knowledge round, teams answered questions on Vietnamese history, culture, and society, requiring quick thinking, accuracy, and strong teamwork.

Top awards were presented to outstanding teams:

  • First Prize - Cultural Ambassador: Accounting students
  • Second Prize - Dai Viet Heroes: Chinese Language students
  • Third Prize - Vietnamese Essence: Pharmacy students

Additional awards recognized creativity and unique cultural expression.

Beyond competition, the event promoted cultural appreciation and inspired students to preserve and develop national heritage. Through engaging activities, participants strengthened academic knowledge, presentation skills, intercultural communication, and teamwork.
