Thanh Do University, in collaboration with the Vietnam Talent Support Fund, is developing plans to organize the national scientific conference “Developing Human Resources and Talent for Economic Management in Vietnam in the Context of Digital Transformation.”

As digital transformation accelerates and artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly reshapes economic management and operations, the requirements for human resources and talent in economic management are undergoing fundamental changes. Beyond professional expertise, economic managers in the new era need digital capabilities, innovative thinking, adaptability, and the ability to apply technology in management practice.

The conference will provide an academic forum for researchers, managers, experts, lecturers, PhD candidates, businesses, and policymakers to exchange research findings, share practical experience, and discuss emerging issues in developing human resources and talent for economic management in the digital era.

Key discussions will examine global and Vietnamese trends in developing human resources and talent for digital economic management; assess the quality, capabilities, structure, and capacity of officials, civil servants, public employees, managers, and organizational and corporate personnel to meet the demands of economic management.

The conference will particularly address new opportunities, challenges, and requirements for training, professional development, talent attraction, utilization, and development amid digital transformation and the adoption of AI.

It will also showcase domestic and international models, experiences, and best practices, while proposing solutions and recommendations to reform education and training, strengthen management and digital capabilities, and promote the application of digital technologies and AI in economic management.

The conference will be co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Scientific & Training Council of Thanh Do University, and Lt. Gen. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Chien, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Human Resources and Talent Development and Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Human Resources and Talent Online Journal.
