During its working visit to Taiwan, the delegation from Thanh Do University had the opportunity to meet and interact with Vietnamese students studying in Taiwan, currently enrolled at universities that are partners of the SIGE Institute of Global Education Science.

Aiming to expand international educational cooperation, Thanh Do University organized several meaningful connection activities throughout the visit. Among the highlights was a meeting, cultural exchange, and experience-sharing session with Vietnamese students studying at SIGE’s partner universities in Taiwan.

Thanh Do University delegation met with the SIGE Institute of Global Education Science and Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages (Kaohsiung, Taiwan).

During the meeting, representatives from Thanh Do University and the SIGE Institute of Global Education Science discussed various collaborative initiatives in the areas of training, study abroad, and student exchange programs. The two sides also discussed a Chinese language training program for Thanh Do University students, opportunities for academic transfer, and career pathways at Taiwanese enterprises after graduation. These initiatives represent important steps toward helping students study foreign languages in a structured, practical environment and enhancing their international competitiveness.

SIGE currently serves as a bridge between Vietnamese universities and the Taiwanese higher education system, particularly in programs involving academic partnerships, student exchanges, scholarships, and international cultural exchanges.

The delegation also held a working session with Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, one of Taiwan’s leading institutions in language and cultural education, known for its excellence in teaching Chinese to international students. During the meeting, both sides agreed to propose a program supporting Chinese language training for Thanh Do University students, building a strong linguistic foundation before they participate in academic exchange or internship programs in Taiwan in the future.

One of the most memorable highlights of the visit was the cultural exchange and experience-sharing activity with Vietnamese students currently studying at SIGE’s partner universities.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the delegation gained deeper insight into the academic life, work experiences, and cultural adaptation of Vietnamese students in Taiwan. They also listened to first-hand stories shared by these overseas students, who represent the image of young Vietnamese learners confidently integrating and developing abroad.

The exchange and sharing activities provided valuable perspectives for the Thanh Do University delegation, helping refine future training programs and student support mechanisms for Thadoers participating in international study and internship programs.
