THE INTENSE FULL SCHOLARSHIP (TAIWAN) FOR STUDENTS OF THANH DO UNIVERSITY

The INTENSE Scholarship (Taiwan) offers Thanh Do University students valuable opportunities to study, intern, and work in Taiwan, especially those majoring in engineering and technology.
As part of Thanh Do University’s working visit to Taiwan, the delegation held a meeting and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kun Shan University of Science and Technology (KSU). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Thanh Do University’s strategy for internationalizing education while opening full scholarship opportunities, internship placements, and global employment pathways for students.

Kun Shan University (KSU) is one of Taiwan’s leading applied universities, known for its strong programs in engineering, technology, electrical and electronics, mechanics, management, and multimedia communication, with an extensive network of partnerships across domestic and international enterprises.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to implement various comprehensive academic cooperation programs, particularly the 2+2 international training program, designed in collaboration with industry partners to ensure real-world relevance and career development. Under this program, successful applicants will receive:
- 100% tuition sponsorship for one year of Chinese language training in Vietnam;
- Full tuition waiver during their study at KSU in Taiwan;
- Guaranteed employment at Taiwanese enterprises after graduation.
Both universities also discussed the implementation of the INTENSE Program – an integrated collaboration model between Government, Industry, and University, aimed at attracting outstanding international students to study, research, and work in Taiwan.
The INTENSE Program focuses on key recruitment areas such as:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- And emphasizes priority fields including:
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
- Semiconductors
- Finance
Designed based on corporate recruitment needs, the INTENSE Program promotes the concept of “learning to work – learning to integrate.” Students will:
- Undertake paid internships during their studies;
- Participate in real-world projects at enterprises to develop practical skills and applied expertise;
- Become job-ready to work at partner companies upon graduation.
Training levels within the INTENSE framework include:
- Dual-degree programs (2+2+internship), (3+1+internship)
- Associate degree (2 years)
- Post-Bachelor’s degree (2 years)
- Bachelor’s programs integrated with domestic students
- Master’s degree programs
- Doctoral degree programs
This collaboration provides Thanh Do University students with access to international-standard education programs, while connecting them with leading Taiwanese corporations and high-tech industries, particularly in the semiconductor field.
The Taiwan mission and the signing of this cooperation agreement reflect Thanh Do University’s continuous efforts in educational internationalization, bringing global study, research, and career opportunities to its students.
