Within the framework of its working visit and international education cooperation in Taiwan, Thanh Do University held a meeting with Minghsin University of Science and Technology (MUST) to discuss the INTENSE Scholarship Program for Thanh Do University students.

The event marked an important milestone in the University’s strategy for internationalizing education, while also opening up numerous opportunities for study, scholarships, and international employment for Thanh Do University students.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to implement the INTENSE Scholarship Program, funded by the Taiwanese Government and major technology enterprises, with Minghsin University of Science and Technology serving as Vice Chair.

The program aims to attract outstanding international students to study and work in key fields, including STEM, semiconductors, and finance. The program covers the following academic levels:

• Doctoral degree: 5 years
• Master’s degree: 2 years
• Dual-degree programs: (2+2 + Internship or 3+1 + Internship)
• Second bachelor’s degree: 2 years
• Associate degree: 2 years

Scholarship Benefits:

• Full tuition waiver worth 50,000 TWD per semester
• Monthly living allowance: 10,000 TWD (approximately 8.9 million VND)
• One-way airfare: 9,000 TWD
• Visa and health check fee support: 10,000 TWD
• Free Chinese language course in Vietnam organized by the INTENSE Foundation (for students enrolled in Chinese-taught programs)
• Employment guarantee after graduation: Students are assured full-time employment for two years at partner enterprises with a starting salary of 28,590 TWD/month (approx. 25.6 million VND)
• Students under the INTENSE program receive both scholarship funding and post-graduation job placement from sponsoring enterprises.

In addition to the scholarship program, the two universities also agreed to implement joint degree programs and academic exchange initiatives, including dual-degree programs (2+2, 1+3) for majors such as Information Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, English Language, and Chinese Language.

The discussion with Minghsin University of Science and Technology concluded with the identification of key cooperation priorities, reaffirming Thanh Do University’s strategy for international integration, continuous expansion of its global partner network, and enhancement of learning, scholarship, and international career opportunities for its students.

This also stands as tangible evidence of the University’s commitment to creating a globally oriented learning, research, and experiential environment, empowering every Thadoer to be ready for global integration and shine on the international stage.
