The Achievement Recognition Program of Thanh Do University served as an opportunity for the University community to reflect on a journey of persistent effort, unity, and strategic commitment, while celebrating breakthrough milestones in its brand development strategy.

The achievements recognized are the collective result of dedication from faculty, staff, and students, under the consistent and forward-looking leadership of the University’s Board of Management and Executive Board in advancing training quality, scientific research, and international integration.

A major highlight of the program was Thanh Do University’s official entry onto the global education map with a 4-Star QS Stars certification, achieved at its first assessment under the new standards. This recognition affirms the University’s quality and credibility, and validates its development orientation as an applied, multidisciplinary university committed to sustainable growth.

Thanh Do University earned a total score of 705/1000, being evaluated across nine criteria, with five out of seven core indicators awarded the maximum 5 Stars, including Teaching, Facilities, Employability, Good Governance, and Social Impact.

At the event, Dr. Pham Hung Hiep, Director of the REK Institute, provided an overview of global university ranking systems, clarified the characteristics of QS Stars, and analyzed Thanh Do University’s performance, highlighting both strengths and areas for further improvement. His insights helped faculty better understand international accreditation as a comprehensive quality enhancement tool rather than a purely achievement-driven goal.

Alongside international integration, the University’s scientific research activities also marked significant progress. Dr. Vu Thi Thanh Minh, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Scientific Research and Development, shared key milestones from over three years of development. Notably, the Journal has officially received operating permission from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, allowing publication in both print and electronic formats, in Vietnamese and English.

The launch of the electronic journal represents an important step in strengthening Thanh Do University’s academic and research capacity. It serves as a reputable platform for scholars inside and outside the University to publish research, while promoting knowledge dissemination, innovation, and stronger connections between the University, industry, and society.
