LEARNING FROM HERITAGE: ENGLISH LANGUAGE STUDENTS AT THANH DO UNIVERSITY ENHANCE SKILLS THROUGH PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE
Share
More than a practical learning activity within the training program, the trip provided students with opportunities to explore culture, history, and language in an open learning environment where academic knowledge is closely connected to real-life experiences.

English Language students of Thanh Do University participate in a practical learning experience at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam.
During the visit, students learned about the history, architecture and cultural significance of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam while practicing communication, presentation and heritage introduction skills entirely in English. Through these experiential activities, students improved not only their language proficiency but also teamwork, observation and practical response skills.
Learning foreign languages through cultural heritage also helped students gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese identity, enabling them to introduce Vietnamese culture and values to international audiences through their language abilities

Students practice presenting and introducing Vietnamese history and culture in English.
Following its educational philosophy that combines learning with real-world experience, Thanh Do University continues to develop a dynamic learning environment where students gain knowledge not only in classrooms but also through practical activities, professional experiences and cultural exchange programs.
Each experiential journey contributes to expanding students’ perspectives, strengthening skills and enhancing global integration capabilities in the context of globalization. This is also part of the University’s application-oriented training strategy aimed at helping students adapt more effectively to the demands of the modern labor market.
