With the aim of strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Laos while fostering a multicultural learning environment, Thanh Do University is hosting the Vietnam–Laos International Student Exchange and Cultural Program under the theme “Friendship – Vietnam–Laos – Everlasting”.

• Program: Vietnam–Laos International Student Exchange and Cultural Program – “Friendship – Vietnam–Laos – Everlasting”

This program is a meaningful initiative to deepen the long-standing bond between the two nations, especially among younger generations. Through cultural exchanges, academic sharing, and experiential activities, students from Thanh Do University and Laos will gain deeper insights into each other’s history, culture, traditions, and daily life. It is also an opportunity to spread shared values, strengthen mutual understanding and trust, and further nurture the special Vietnam–Laos relationship.

Designed to build an international learning space, the program enables students from different cultural backgrounds to learn from one another, develop global mindsets, and enhance soft skills. Thanh Do University is committed to combining theory with practice, fostering diversity, and cultivating an environment that encourages integration for both Thadoers and Vietnamese students in general.

Over 10 days, the program will take place at Thado Edupark Education Ecosystem, featuring a series of cultural and educational activities for Laotian students:

• Student club exchanges: traditional costumes check-in, conical hat painting, lantern making, and paper fan painting.

• Visits to iconic landmarks: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Vietnam Military History Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature.

• Vietnam–Laos language exchange with English Language and Vietnamese Studies students.

• Culinary program “Vietnam–Laos Flavors: A Fusion of Traditions”.

• Team building, Jumping for Friendship, and various sports activities.

The program is organized in close collaboration with Quang Tri College of Education, strengthening partnerships in training and student support for Laotian learners. Academic exchange between the two institutions will contribute to improving education quality and laying the foundation for effective joint training models in the future.

At the same time, this initiative reaffirms Thanh Do University’s commitment to Vietnam’s education policies for international students, as stipulated in Circular No. 30/2018/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training.
