In line with regional and global trends where educational institutions are no longer just places for academic learning but also environments for personal development, healthy lifestyles, and behavioral transformation, universities are increasingly prioritizing student health and wellness as part of the campus experience. These efforts aim to enhance learning spaces and reduce “pollution” in the school environment.
With the message “Safe Campus, Healthy Students,” the Thado Care Centre was established with a core mission: to monitor and care for the health of university staff, lecturers, and students on a regular basis. This initiative fosters greater awareness of physical and mental well-being, contributing positively to public health ecosystem.
The Thado Care Centre comprises two main areas: A 40m² School Health & Psychological Counseling Zone, and A 100m² Healthcare Practice and Medicine Purchase Area.
Specialised space – Infrastructure is invested sensibly and multifuntionally
Thoughtfully designed and well-equipped, Thado Care features modern medical and wellness facilities to meet diverse physical and mental health needs.
A friendly reception area greets every Thadoer with warmth and comfort.
The medical room offers first aid, health check-ups, and ongoing care for students, staff and lecturers.
The psychological counseling room provides a safe, private space so that students can relieve stress and stablise their emotions with the support of trained counselors.
The pharmacy counter operates regularly, dispensing medications, offering usage guidance, and responding to urgent health needs. It also serves as a practical training site for Pharmacy students.
A highlight of the centre is the 1,000 m² Herbal Garden, showcasing a wide range of medicinal plants for use in community healthcare practices and student learning.
A scientific display corner features health and pharmaceutical products developed by university faculty and students, bridging academic research with real-life applications.
Proactive and Specialised Health & Wellness Services
Beyond basic school health services, Thado Care also offers a range of preventive, relaxing, restorative services, bringing multidimensional healthcare experiences via physiotherapeutic methods, including:
All services are delivered by experienced professionals in collaboration with students from Health Sciences programs (Pharmacy, Nursing, etc.), providing a real-world training environment that fosters hands-on learning and career readiness.
The center continuously monitors and supports the physical and mental health of the Thado Edupark community, helping every individual take proactive steps toward their own well-being.
The Thado Care model is also a platform for distributing natural healthcare products developed through lecturer and student research. These include award-winning innovations from the 2023 National Women’s Entrepreneurship Competition.
Developed from the project “Enhancing Production Capacity and Promoting Commercialisation of Selected Natural Health Care Products,” the model of the School Health Care Center has expanded from concept to reality. Successfully extracted products from natural herbs have been put into production and introduced to the market, gradually realising the link between the University and Enterprises in training, and in applying scientific research to real life. The Centre is designed as a practical training environment for students, especially those in health-related fields. The leadership of Thanh Do University understands that gaining hands-on experience in a real business setting is the most effective way to help learners take initiative in acquiring knowledge and maturing professionally.
This activity helps learners develop a serious sense of responsibility, understand how to align personal interests with those of the collective and the enterprise, bridge the gap between theory and practice, and continuously strive to meet the knowledge and skill requirements of their future roles.
The Centre also emphasises enhancing professional competencies through cooperation with Hoai Duc General Hospital, providing support in training, professional consultation, and handling medical situations beyond the initial capabilities of the Centre, ensuring absolute peace of mind for the university community.
The establishment of the Thado Care Centre lays a vital foundation for the learning and development of students, trainees, staff, and faculty across the entire Thado Edupark Educational Ecosystem. It is a practical and meaningful model aimed at promoting comprehensive school health and building a safe, friendly learning environment.
