Before becoming First Runner-up of Elegant Student 2026, Trinh Thi Huong Tra was a professional volleyball player who competed in tournaments of all sizes. Her years in sports instilled discipline, perseverance and resilience, valuable assets that helped her step confidently into university life.

At Thanh Do University, alongside her Business Administration studies, Huong Tra continued to seek new experiences and discover her hidden potential, and the Elegant Student 2026 Contest became a special milestone.

Moving from the familiar volleyball court to a beauty pageant stage, Tra chose to leave her comfort zone and try a completely new field. Standing 1.75 m tall, with a graceful figure and a bright smile, she impressed in every round. Yet what made her journey memorable was not only her appearance but also her confidence, poise and efforts to improve herself.

According to journalist Ngo Ba Luc, from a rather shy Huong Tra on the semi-final stage to the final night, her catwalk, posing and stage presence showed clear progress, evidence of serious training, a willingness to learn and determination to overcome her initial unfamiliarity.

A Mark of Elegance: Shining Through Refinement and Confidence

One of Huong Tra's highlights at the contest was the evening gown round. Instead of an elaborate design, she appeared in a minimalist, elegant and refined dress that accentuated her height and figure. The choice reflected not only her aesthetic sense but also her confidence and ability to understand and own her image.
