Thanh Do University has marked its presence on the international education map by achieving a 4-Star QS Stars in its first evaluation under the new standards, raising higher expectations for scientific research and international publications among its academic staff and researchers.

To support this goal, the University organized the seminar “Scopus & WOS Journals: Selection Guide for Faculty Members” providing essential, up-to-date, and practical knowledge for academics on their journey toward global scholarly integration.

The seminar offered a clear overview of reputable journal databases such as Scopus and Web of Science (WoS), along with key journal quality indicators, helping participants understand their academic value and apply them effectively in international publishing.

Through expert sharing by Dr. Pham Hung Hiep, Director of the REK Institute, the program focused on journal selection strategies, international publishing experience, and identifying and avoiding predatory journals, contributing to the protection of academic integrity and institutional reputation.
