On the morning of June 2, 2023, the signing ceremony of the collaboration between Thanh Do University and Dalat University took place, focusing on discussions regarding various aspects and potential programs that can be implemented with the Aviation Department of Thanh Do University to develop training programs, coordinate admissions, and provide guidance for specialized fields, promising to create new opportunities for academic development.
Dalat University, a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary institution with a long-standing tradition, is one of the key universities. With many similarities in training programs and academic fields, along with the need for new development in the future, the two universities have reached a collaborative agreement after detailed discussions. Mr. Mai Minh Nhat, Vice Rector of Dalat University, emphasized the aspects of cooperation between the two institutions in training programs, particularly the close collaboration with the Aviation Department of Thanh Do University. Regarding the specialization in Air Transportation Business Administration and Airport Business Administration, which is timely and aligned with the demands of both education and the market, Dalat University will provide maximum support and resources to achieve the goal of training high-quality professionals with a strong emphasis on practical and vocational skills.
In addition to providing a brief overview of the historical formation and development, as well as highlighting notable achievements during recent times, both sides of the institutions shared the view that this collaboration would leverage the strengths of each party and promote the development of diverse training programs in terms of types and methodologies, meeting the societal needs. At the same time, there was an agreement to concretely articulate the cooperative agreements into specific tasks and programs for implementation, along with annual reviews and evaluations, serving as a foundation for formulating specific plans in the coming years.
When discussing the potential for collaboration between the two universities, Mr. Phan Xuan Chien, the CEO of GMB Aviation Human Resources Services Company, focused on the aspect of coordinating training in the fields of Air Transportation Business Administration and Airport Business Administration, particularly highlighting the support for practical environments to provide students with expanded internship opportunities. He emphasized the significant advantages of the location, infrastructure, and development of the business administration field at Dalat University as an important foundation for close and comprehensive cooperation.
During the working session, aiming to create a long-term goal of fostering a conducive learning environment, promoting exchanges, and expanding collaborative relationships across various fields and disciplines, with a particular emphasis on practical skills for students in the Aviation Department, both sides thoroughly discussed the scope of collaboration and proceeded to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) – an important foundation for future cooperation endeavors.

After the signing, the leaders of both universities are responsible for directing their respective departments, offices, and faculties to develop the collaborative relationship in accordance with their respective functions and duties.
As part of the program, Thanh Do University also discussed supporting and coordinating with the Center for Social Work Training, with the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, Deputy Director of the Training and Development Center, General Department of Population and Family Planning, Ministry of Health. This opens up favorable development prospects for the future.
The signing is believed to contribute to the creation of new collaborative programs for students, increasing student exchange programs and cultural exchanges. In particular, this event will serve as a precursor for deeper and more comprehensive cooperation between the two universities as well as between the two countries in the near future.
The success of the signing ceremony marks the beginning of a promising collaborative relationship for the future, opening up opportunities for multi-disciplinary training cooperation and providing opportunities for students, especially those studying in the Aviation Department.
