MY THADO CENTER – A HUB FOR STUDENT CONNECTIONS

Originated from the educational philosophy of  Intelligence, Capability, Objectivity, and Nature, My Thado Center was officially launched to create a holistic and inclusive learning environment that respects individual differences while maintaining overall harmony. The center offers support and companionship for TDD students across academics, employment, culture, sports, and entertainment. It provides a healthy, dynamic environment with diverse experiential activities to help Thadoers develop holistically, express themselves, and maximize their strengths.

My Thado Center – Thanh Do University students’ hub

My Thado Center – Connecting TDD Students My Thado Center was established under Decision No. 76/NQ-HĐT-ĐHTĐ dated May 10, 2024, by the University Council of Thanh Do University. As a directly affiliated unit of the university, the center advises and assists the Board of Management in managing and implementing tasks, namely:

  • Managing both on-campus and off-campus student affairs; training ideological and political education for students
  • Implementing student policies and entitlements; and handling all matters related to student rights and responsibilities.
  • Collaborating with businesses to advise and support job placements and internships for students. Providing healthcare services for university students.

The center is composed of three departments: Academic Affairs Office, Employment Office and Student Vitamin Office.

Academic Affairs Office

  • Manage and archive student records, ensure confidentiality.
  • Disseminate student regulations, evaluate conduct points, propose scholarships, commendation, or disciplinary measures.
  • Coordinate with faculties on academic affairs; offer academic advising and mental health counseling.
  • Manage on-campus and off-campus student accommodation.
  • Handle administrative procedures for students, including but not limited to
  • Student confirmation letters
  • Transcripts, degree copies
  • Tuition exemption/reduction requests
  • Authorization letters
  • Course retake and leave of absence applications
  • Dormitory requests
  • Student ID card issuance
  • Bus pass applications
  • Password recovery
  • Private class requests
  • Grade review requests
  • Graduation eligibility applications
  • Loan confirmation forms
  • Final exam deferral requests
  • Serve as the liaison with students’ families.
  • Track and remind students of tuition obligations.

Student Vitamin Office

  • Organize cultural, sports, competitions, and youth union activities.
  • Manage student clubs, both academic and non-academic.
  • Coordinate social activities to enhance students’ character and attachment to the university.
  • Design and implement programs that connect current students and alumni, including soft skills workshops and research support.
  • Build and maintain an alumni database; facilitate networking with alumni.

Employment Office

  • Coordinate internship programs in partnership with LETCO.
  • Advise on enterprise internships and experiential learning.
  • Connect students with internship/employment opportunities.
  • Work with faculties on MOUs with businesses.
  • Support job counseling and post-graduation placements.
  • Organize interviews, job fairs, and corporate-student engagement.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with corporate partners.
  • Supervise internship progress and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Collect and match student job demands with employer recruitment needs.

My Thado Center is fully equipped with modern infrastructure to create an optimal environment for learning, connection, and student development.

Academic Affairs Office: Computer system connected to the university-wide student database, reception area, and private counseling space for fast administrative support.

Student Vitamin Office: A flexible, open space ideal for student events, club activities, and workshops – complete with professional audio-visual equipment.

Employment Office: Integrated personal consultation corner, updated digital job listings, and mock interview area to help students enhance their career readiness.

The entire center’s facility is designed with bright, modern, and open spaces, high-speed Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, and security cameras. The relaxing zones feature sofas, greenery, and coffee tables – offering an inspiring and comfortable experience.

Creative Space – Honoring student ideas and growth

The center is not just a hub for academic and social engagement; it also celebrates knowledge and creativity. A designated creative display zone showcases student-made memorabilia, research projects, academic works, and entrepreneurial ideas from students and faculty.

This space celebrates each Thadoer’s journey, serving as a key highlight for campus tours, attracting prospective students, parents, and partners – radiating the university’s spirit of inspiration and innovation.

More than just a functional space, My Thado Center is also a pillar of emotional and educational support – especially for disadvantaged or vulnerable students. Through its near 24/7 presence across hotline, email, social media, and website, the center provides ongoing mental health, academic, and life guidance.

My Thado Center thus becomes a symbol of creativity, compassion, and innovative symbol, true to the values of Thanh Do University.
