With a strong commitment to practice-oriented education, Thanh Do University consistently creates opportunities for students to engage with professional working environments from the very first semesters. As part of their introductory internship course, on the afternoon of June 16, students majoring in Education had the opportunity to participate in a field experience at UNIGO Primary and Secondary School—one of the key institutions within the Thado Edupark Educational Ecosystem.
For students across disciplines, and particularly those in the field of Education, each internship period is more than a requirement—it is a pivotal milestone for applying knowledge to real-world contexts, honing skills, embracing challenges, and shaping their future teaching identity.
A distinctive feature of Thanh Do University’s internship program is the integration with units within its own educational ecosystem. For Education students, UNIGO Primary and Secondary School—operating in tandem with the University under the same system—serves as a core practice institution for future internships.
Interning at UNIGO offers numerous advantages. The seamless connection between study, practice, and application allows students not only to observe classrooms but also to take on real responsibilities. They actively collaborate with teachers in a variety of educational activities, from teaching and classroom management to organizing experiential learning. Notably, students are also introduced to modern educational models that apply innovative technology and active pedagogical methods, enriching their professional perspective.
During the two-week internship at UNIGO, students will engage in a full spectrum of educational activities—from lesson delivery and class supervision to organizing co-curricular programs. The internship orientation and handover meeting was conducted in a warm, open atmosphere, with teachers from UNIGO offering dedicated guidance and support to help students gain confidence as they enter their professional training phase.
Thanks to the unified system, university faculty can closely monitor and support the students throughout their internship, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of their professional development. The strong partnership between the University and its practice schools also enhances interdisciplinary real-world exposure and opens pathways for long-term career connections.
By practicing in a real environment—with real people and real tasks—starting from the first academic year, Thanh Do Education students gain an early edge in developing practical competencies and professional confidence. This early exposure is a crucial factor in preparing students for the dynamic and demanding labor market in education.
Guided by the philosophy of “learning – doing – career – profession,” Thanh Do University places significant emphasis on employability after graduation. Introductory internships are especially important for second-year students who are preparing to enter their specialization phase. These early experiences help them define clearer career goals and create long-term development plans.
The University’s goal is to ensure that students understand their field and career from the outset, enabling them to build study plans and develop skills aligned with the needs of both the domestic and international labor markets. Moving forward, Thanh Do University will continue to strengthen its connections with businesses, training centers, and international organizations to offer students more practical experiences and high-quality employment opportunities—right from their time on campus.
With a supportive learning environment and a spirit of curiosity and engagement, this internship promises to be a valuable period for Education students to accumulate experience, enhance expertise, and nurture their passion for teaching—laying a solid foundation on their journey to become the inspiring educators of future generations.
