Thanh Do University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tran Hi Human Resources Co., Ltd. (Guangxi, China), opening doors for students to access international learning environments and practical internship experiences.
As part of its international collaboration program, Thanh Do University hosted the signing ceremony with Tran Hi Human Resources Co., Ltd., a company with extensive experience in training, workforce provision, and career connection in the China–ASEAN labor market.
Attending the ceremony on behalf of Tran Hi Human Resources were CEO Mr. Tran Duyet and other company representatives. From Thanh Do University, the delegation included Dr. Nguyen Thuy Van – Vice Rector, Dr. Ngo Thi Anh Tuyet – Director of the International Training Center, MA. PhD Candidate Bui Duc Thinh – Deputy Head in charge of the Training Department, along with faculty and staff representatives from various offices and centers.
Dr. Nguyen Thuy Van emphasized that with the vision of becoming a top-ranking educational institution in Vietnam and internationally recognized in key fields, Thanh Do University actively establishes strategic partnerships with domestic and international enterprises to provide students with internship and career opportunities while still on campus.
The university’s curriculum is designed to align with enterprise-based semesters lasting 6–12 months for third-year students, giving them hands-on experience in real work environments, applying professional knowledge and skills, developing soft skills, and even earning income during their internship.
Through this collaboration, the university expects that partner companies will offer a variety of internships aligned with students’ majors, helping them gain insights into the labor market and make informed career choices.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, CEO Mr. Tran Duet expressed gratitude to the university for trusting his company as a partner, emphasizing their shared commitment to social responsibility and the development of a young, high-quality workforce capable of integrating internationally.
The MOU establishes practical training programs, including the school–enterprise linkage model (0.5 + 0.5) and the “school within enterprise” model (12 months) – six months of language and professional skill training at the university, followed by six months of paid internship at the company. These models allow students to improve foreign language proficiency, understand local culture, gain international work experience, and enhance adaptability in global labor markets.
Strategic partnerships with Tran Hi Human Resources Co., Ltd., Nanning Native Trade Co., Ltd., and the Vietnam Tropical Agriculture Research Institute create a proactive training–practice–application ecosystem. Students benefit from interdisciplinary, multicultural learning, alongside companies with proven expertise, gaining practical experience and career opportunities after graduation.
This agreement demonstrates Thanh Do University’s commitment to internationalizing education while opening pathways for students to integrate, gain hands-on experience, and develop comprehensive skills in the digital and global economy. International collaboration programs provide students, particularly those interested in paid internships in China, with expanded opportunities to build knowledge, enhance language skills, and acquire professional competencies that meet employer demands, confidently entering the labor market.
