On the afternoon of July 7, 2025, Thanh Do University, in collaboration with Ba Na Services Cable Car Joint Stock Company, Sun World Group (Sun World Ba Na Hills), held a training session and officially sent off TDD students to begin their three-month paid internship in Da Nang.
In addition to the essential academic learning at the University, the internship at a “corporate classroom” represents a special course that allows Thadoer students to develop themselves and acquire practical skills. Corporate partnerships are a key focus at Thanh Do University. With an extensive network of business connections, field trips, observation visits, and paid internships at partner enterprises have become familiar experiences for students.
As a result, a unique privilege enjoyed by students in Tourism and Foreign Language programs at TDD each year is the three-month “internship tour” at Sun World Ba Na Hills. This has become one of the most popular courses, offering engaging field experiences and valuable hands-on learning.
Students majoring in Hotel Management, Vietnam Studies (Tourism Guiding), and English Language enjoy these internship opportunities annually at Sun World Ba Na Hills, accumulating knowledge, skills, experience, and countless memorable moments. Each July, Tourism and Foreign Language students officially begin their paid internships at Sun World Ba Na Hills.

To ensure the safety and readiness of students during their internships, Thanh Do University collaborated with Sun Group to organize a professional training session on July 7, 2025, with the participation of Sun Group representatives, university lecturers, and students.
Representing Ba Na Service Cable Car Joint Stock Company was Mr. Dao Huu Trung, Head of the Student Affairs Team. From Thanh Do University, attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Ai Thi – Vice Rector and Director of the Institute of Management & Technology, M.A. & Ph.D. candidate Nguyen Van Dien – Acting Head of the AEA Department, M.A. Nguyen Van Trong – Deputy Head of the AEA Department, M.A. Dinh Thi Thanh Huyen – Acting Director of the GenNext Center, along with lecturers from the Tourism and Foreign Languages departments. Special attention was given to students of classes D108 & D112, cohort 14, majoring in Hotel Management and English Language, who are about to embark on their internship journey.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Ai Thi, Vice Rector, emphasized the significance of the internship semester for each student. The corporate semester offers numerous advantages, and making the most of this period enables students not only to deepen their understanding and apply professional knowledge in real-life situations, but also to develop personal skills in communication and professionalism. Moreover, students have the opportunity to discover their strengths and clarify their career orientation for the future.
The training session was held in an open and interactive atmosphere, where students received practical knowledge and skills directly from company representatives, equipping them with the professional expertise needed to fully engage in the highly anticipated internship.
Today, students had the chance to prepare essential items such as clothing, personal belongings, and academic knowledge acquired at the University, in readiness for the corporate semester. By becoming actual staff members at Ba Na Hills, students will further develop and refine soft skills, including communication, problem-solving, and foreign language proficiency, thereby expanding employment opportunities and gaining the confidence to enter the corporate environment immediately after graduation.
The “University–Enterprise” model is a key element in curriculum development, aimed at establishing Thanh Do University as a leading applied university. To achieve this goal, the University has designed a program where practical experience accounts for up to 40% of total learning time, combining skill-development courses on campus with internships and hands-on experience in real workplace settings. In addition, Thanh Do University proactively connects and expands partnerships with enterprises across various sectors, providing students with ample opportunities for internships and practical work experience.
The 3-month internship journey at Sun World Ba Na Hills is sure to bring invaluable new experiences in a professional work environment with diverse roles, such as ride operations, tour guiding, and front desk services. This internship not only provides practical experience and insights gained through hands-on work but also offers students the opportunity to earn an income while learning on the job.
