In recognition of two decades of contributions, on November 22, 2024, the Minister of Education and Training awarded Thanh Do University a Certificate of Commendation for its outstanding achievements in the establishment and development of the institution. At the 20th Anniversary Celebration on the morning of November 30, 2024, Thanh Do University proudly accepted this prestigious award, marking two decades of commitment to education and training excellence.

• In 2020, Thanh Do University became one of the first 40 institutions in the region to receive a 3-star UPM rating for applied education from the Southeast Asian University Quality Assurance Network.
• The university is ranked among the top applied universities in ASEAN+ (AppliedHE) and has continuously improved its position in the Webometrics international rankings.
• In 2021, Thanh Do University officially achieved national accreditation for higher education quality.
• Notably, it is the only Vietnamese member of the Open Education Global (OE Global) Network, a pioneering non-profit organization promoting open education worldwide.
