Ever since its establishment, the “Accompany Me to School” charity initiative has successfully rallied contributions in the form of funds and items, amounting to a remarkable total value of 200 million VND. Following extensive preparations, the affectionate bus bearing the label “Thanh Do” commenced its journey to bring joy to the children of Sinh Phinh Semi-boarding Secondary School.

After conquering a challenging 430km distance, enduring 12 hours of treacherous and uphill roads, the mission to deliver love and joy to the children reached its destination at dawn on May 6. The event took place at Sinh Phinh Semi-boarding Secondary School, nestled in the heart of Sinh Phinh commune, Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province.

The program is being executed by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Thanh Do University in collaboration with coordinating units, which include the Ngoc Lan Charity Group, Truong Tho Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, and Trung Tin Educational Equipment Company. Additionally, the program is fueled by the generosity of kind-hearted individuals and sponsors like Mr. Manh, who have made significant donations.

In this endeavor to empathize with the children in the highlands and support their holistic development and education, the Volunteer Union has granted study promotion scholarships, educational grants, learning materials, essential supplies, food, medicines, and nutritional supplements.

The amount of money, items… with a total value of up to 200 million VND has been donated to the children in the highlands, partly aiding their comprehensive development and education.

The bookshelf at Sinh Phinh Semi-boarding Secondary School has been supplemented with advanced books, storybooks, and a well-organized scientific library by the Volunteer Union. This helps the children gain additional knowledge and understanding, thereby providing them with more motivation and intelligence to strive for success, overcome obstacles and challenges, and improve their own lives as well as the lives of their families and those around them.

The harsh weather conditions with dense fog at the school site in Sinh Phinh commune, Tua Chua district, Dien Bien province have caused difficulties in studying and moving around for the young students. Understanding this situation, the Volunteer Union has installed 05 Kitawa Dual-Piece Solar Lights 600W, to provide the children with easier mobility, enjoyable playtime, and more convenient learning spaces.

The Volunteer Union also places special emphasis on the health of the children by arranging health check-ups conducted by a team of doctors and pharmacists who are faculty members and students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Thanh Do University.

Through medical examinations, the Volunteer Union collaborated with the Sinh Phinh commune Health Center to carry out deworming treatments and distribute pharmaceuticals and essential supplies to aid the children.

In addition to their focus on education, the Volunteer Union also prioritizes the health of the children through health check-ups conducted by a team of doctors and pharmacists who are faculty members and students from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Thanh Do University. The Volunteer Union has enhanced the lunchtime experience for students at Sinh Phinh Semi-boarding Secondary School by providing a meal with the rich flavors of Hanoi.

The children at this school were treated to a lunch that carried the distinctive taste of Hanoi, featuring the dish Bún Mọc. One student, with great enthusiasm, exclaimed, “This is the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life!” The Volunteer Union was pleasantly surprised and deeply moved by this heartfelt comment, realizing that a seemingly simple meal had contributed to enriching the lives of these young students with a new culinary experience.

The smiles and happy expressions on the faces of the students upon receiving the items, gifts, and other belongings were priceless.

From the curious glances of the students as the Volunteer Union began their interaction, to the enthusiastic exchanges and conversations, and finally witnessing the radiant smiles and expressions of happiness upon receiving the items and gifts, we were deeply moved and proud. These reactions served as a powerful motivation for the Volunteer Union, empowering us to undertake more community projects. We hope that through these experiences, the students will gain more motivation and strength to overcome obstacles, surpass challenges, and excel in both their studies and lives.
